Mercury to Boost Remittance Time and Money Savings to South Africa Using ODL

Image
The shortest air mile distance between Johannesburg and London is 5,635 miles.  Historically, moving money between banks or money service providers in those two cities takes days to cover that distance. That literally means it would still be faster to put money on an airplane and physically fly it between the two cities.  International payments specialist  Mercury  aims to shorten that money transfer window to only minutes using RippleNet’s  On-Demand Liquidity  (ODL) service and the  digital asset XRP .  The recent news that Mercury has been accepted into the first cohort of South Africa’s Intergovernmental Fintech Working Group (IFWG) Regulatory Sandbox for its work in partnership with Ripple and cryptocurrency exchange VALR, is a big step toward bringing fintech innovation to the region.  The  IFWG  exists to facilitate the role of fintechs and innovation in the South African financial market. More than 50 companies applied to be part of this inaugural Regulatory Sandbox

Godzilla vs Kong Runtime Surfaces Online

Image
some fans were expecting the movie to have a juicer run time. The theory amongst most fans labeled the epic as two hours or longer, but that is not the case. Still, this may just work out in our favor. The number one complaint about the MonsterVerse so far has been its pacing. Fans are adamant in their desire for more monster mayhem and less human-on-human drama. A shorter run time may streamline those desires, so we're crossing our fingers for Godzilla vs Kong. And overall, this run time seems to be the longest of the MonsterVerse yet. Kong: Skull Island clocked in at 118 minutes while Godzilla ended at 123 minutes. Most recently, Godzilla: King of the Monsters hit put at 113, so Godzilla vs Kong looks like it will be in-between here. That makes sense given the fact it has two monsters to contend with, so fans will be able to see how this run time is used before too much longer! What do you make of this new report? Does this run time sound good to you? Share your thoug

Sean Paul Clarifies Comments on Jay-Z Being Jealous During BeyoncΓ© Collab: ‘Nothing Ever Happened’

Paul recently appeared on the Too Live Crew, Action & the Burgerman radio show, where he reportedly backed up the host’s theory that Jay wasn’t comfortable with their 2003 collaboration “Baby Boy” because he didn’t like them spending time together. But in a new interview with, HotNewHipHop Paul set the record straight. “It was a radio show here in Jamaica and I get this regularly. When I go to Texas, also, radio shows there, I don’t know what it is, people are like, ‘So tell me…’ and it gets to that part in that interview where they’re like, ‘What happened with you and BeyoncΓ©?’ Nothing really happened. The hit song was dope,” Paul explained. Paul went on to explain what he actually meant by his comments. “You know, some of them made up their own mind. That’s the whatever. Bluezelle is Resisting Censorship with a New Developer Grant: Interview with Neeraj Muraka

Image
Online censorship has taken front and center since the sweeping ban of former U.S. President Donald Trump from every social outlet he’s been a part of. Other high-profile censorship acts, like Amazon removing alt-right social network Parler from its servers and My Pillow CEO Michael Lindell being banned from Twitter have presented a new paradigm of online censorship. Decentralized database service Bluzelle has decided to fight back so to speak. It has announced a $500,000 grant for censorship-resistant applications in what seems like a direct response to recent acts of online censorship by Big Tech. Bluzelle CTO, Neeraj Murarka, has shared with news.Bitcoin.com his perspective on the ongoing debate surrounding online censorship and Bluzelle’s strong push against it.
