Several people including Nigerian celebrities have called out some international stars who refused to speak up despite happenings in the country.
This is because most of these international celebrities have made art from Nigeria, and Africa as a whole. One such celebrity is Beyonce.
Days after Beyoncé's publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, took to social media to respond to Tiwa Savage's video, saying there was no need for people to judge others by their social media posts, her mother, Tina Knowles, also replied, saying that her daughter was not a Nigerian spokesperson.

Tiwa Savage took to Twitter to also reply to Tina Knowles. In the post which she shared on Twitter, she simply said that every other person had mothers as well.
