The Oasis Protocol, a public blockchain with an eye on creating a more private and scalable version of decentralized finance (DeFi), has partnered with the compliance-focused Shyft Network. Announced Thursday, the partnership will deliver anti-money laundering (AML) strictures by leveraging elements of Shyft’s identity system and whitelisting of items/IP addresses, while also protecting users’ commercial and transactional data. There’s also a line to be walked on making DeFi compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the companies said. Oasis Labs, creator of Oasis Protocol, raised some $45 million in a private token pre-sale in 2018, backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Binance, Pantera and others. The Oasis mainnet, which went live in November, is a layer one blockchain that sets out to do the same sort of things as Ethereum, albeit in a way that is potentially more scalable. It also allows developers to run smart contracts that keep data private while allow

In his words: "The office of an α»ba in Yoruba land is an hereditary office that is maintained by Royal families, but in order to be the one that is confirmed as an α»ba the chief priest and the town elders would perform an IFA consultation to confirm if they have the right person because many use influence and mon

There appears to be more gloom for XRP as Grayscale Investment announced that it had sold off all XRP tokens it was holding in its Digital Large Cap Fund. This news comes days after a report emerged that Grayscale had purchased a large number of XRP tokens at a much lower price. According to data from Cryptowhale, the firm had bought over 12 million XRP tokens on New Year’s eve. However, in what appears to be a twist in the decision of the leading crypto investment company, the firm has now decided to totally liquidate all XRP holdings in the large-cap fund. This decision might be connected to Genesis Global Trading, the solely authorized participant of the fund, who earlier announced that it would be suspending XRP tradings on its platform. Genesis cited the impending lawsuit between Ripple and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as to why it has decided to stop trading the crypto asset from January 15, 2020. Grayscale made it known that the proceeds from the liquidat

The rise of wellness is nothing new, but this year has really made us take the time to focus on our health. Instead of working out to the point of exhaustion, people have taken a more holistic approach to their overall wellbeing, factoring in what makes them feel happy and healthy, rather than simply the quickest way to achieve washboard abs. It’s an attitude worth taking into the new year. Because really, everything in wellness boils down to what makes you feel good. And as the millions of women swept up in the latest sexual revolution know, that could also mean skipping a spin class in favour of a different sort of endorphin-boost entirely… Cellular fitness This year has been stressful, to say the least. Now, a new range of programmes measure the stress you’re under, and build an exercise routine around it. The aim is to avoid placing the body under further unnecessary stress when you’re close to burnout, but equally, to encourage you to push yourself when you can legitim
